What Are Spiritual Gifts?
Spiritual gifts are God-given abilities, passions, and ways of serving that help the church become healthier, stronger, and more loving. Scripture teaches that God gives gifts to His people for the good of others and for the building up of the body of Christ. They are not about status or comparison. They are about stewardship — discovering how God has shaped you and using what He has entrusted to you to bless others.
At Life Community Church, we believe everyone belongs, everyone matters, and everyone can help build the body of Christ. God has intentionally shaped each person with gifts, experiences, and opportunities to serve. Spiritual gifts help us move from simply attending church to actively participating in what God is doing in and through His people.
Some people have one gift that stands out clearly. Others may notice several gifts working together across different seasons of life. This assessment is designed to help you reflect prayerfully, start meaningful conversations, and consider practical next steps for serving God and others at LCC.
Gifts Grow Through Use
Spiritual gifts become clearer as we pray, serve, learn, and take faithful next steps. God often reveals and strengthens our gifts as we use them with humility and love.
The Body Is Built Up
When each person serves with their gifts, the whole church is strengthened. God uses ordinary acts of faithfulness to encourage people, meet needs, and point others to Jesus.
