Kirstin Sowers
Kirstin (Kay) Sowers serves in Honduras with the ministry Sowers4Pastors. Mostly, she works in the office, but she also helps out as needed with various field tasks, such as with short-term mission teams and with fundraising and collecting donated items in the US.
The vision of Sowers4Pastors is to empower the local Honduran pastors and missionaries to better serve their own churches and communities. By partnering with these national Christian leaders, the ministry achieves a far greater impact and depth than it would ever have by itself.
Kirstin spent part of her childhood in Honduras, and after going to college in the US and working as a nurse for many years, felt called to return in 2020. She enjoys babysitting her sister Rachel’s four kids.
- Despite living in Honduras on and off for years, Kirstin still struggles with Spanish – she will be attending language school for several months to hopefully overcome this barrier. Please pray that God develops her Spanish so she can better share his message with the Honduran people.
- Blessing and growth throughout the S4P ministry: That God would provide the resources needed for pastor motorcycles, church roofs, feeding centers, sponsorship programs, etc.... and that the ministry's growth would be deep and glorifying to God.
- For the needed ministry staff to be provided: With growth in projects and programs comes the need for growth in staff as well.
