Summer Missions Trips
Once again this summer, a number of LCC’ers are headed in various directions to take part in short-term efforts to share the gospel with those who have never heard.
•At the start of June, Mike and Sandi Miller will conclude a medical missions trip to one of the poorest areas of the globe, outside of Nairobi, Kenya.
•In July a team with several LCC’ers including Mike Carney, Sam Weiant, and Dan and Caleb Masula will also go to Kenya with E3 Partners.
•Also in July, Kate Weiant, who has served the last two years in Kenya, will complete a short furlough at home and return there to teach and reach people.
•In August Michael and Anna Gildein will head out for another E3 Partners mission to Colombia.
•Also in August, Valerie Banfield will go to Kenya with E3 Partners.
We will commission these individuals before they leave, and we invite you to partner with them in prayer as they live out the Great Commission in profound and overt ways this summer. If you’re heading out this summer and we didn’t include you, please let us know.

Church Plant Update
Catalyst Community Church moves full-throttle toward an official opening this fall with Sunday pre-launch services moving permanently to Sunday mornings on June 6th. A summer series, “We are Catalyst,” is setting the tone and vision for a great new church dedicated to reaching the lost of this generation in the northwest corridor between Dublin and Marysville. Come see it firsthand at 10:00 a.m. on Sundays at the Glacier Ridge Elementary School.
Building Break-In

Tenant Needed
Yep, this is the same blurb you saw here last month (and that means it’s still worth mentioning, a bit more urgently this time). We’re looking for a new “tenant” for our empty back storage space. The nice folks from Jack’s Appliance will be moving out of the unfinished, 9,000 sq. ft. section of our building by the end of this summer. We’d love to have someone else lease out that space so that we can continue to use proceeds from that rent to offset our budget needs. It’s simple, “shade-and-shelter” storage space. If you know of a business that might be looking for that kind of space, please contact the church office at 614.527.9661.
Turn Up the Radio

And YOU CAN HELP choose the songs we use during the series. During July we’ll have a survey form on Sunday mornings inviting you to suggest recent, popular songs you think would be worth considering for the series. Watch for the forms on Sunday mornings this summer and then consider inviting someone who’s not connected with church to come with you to the series starting after Labor Day.
Kids’ Life Is About Partnering with Parents

The math here is pretty simple. Kids’ Life would be missing the boat if we didn’t spend some of our time, effort, and resources on partnering with parents to help them along their journey of teaching their kids about faith, character, and a relationship with Jesus Christ. And here’s how we do that:
Partnering through relationships. For example:
-Your elementary student’s cell group leader wants to meet you
-Take time to say hi to the leaders in your preschool child’s room
Offering resources you can use at home. You’ll find them on our web site:
-Small Talk Sheets
-Fridge Door Cards
-God Time Cards
-Family Time Virtue Packs
Imagine your time at home with your children represented by the color red. Picture Kids’ Life’s influence on them as yellow. By working together, we will merge to create a vibrant, life-changing voice in your child’s life… we call it ORANGE.
